David responded to my email within minutes of my inquiry online. He actually answered the phone when I called him later in the day...unlike so many other Realtors who I had been dealing with who never answer! My family and I had been looking for a home for the past 6 months, and had put an offer on our dream home. It was a short sale, and only had a couple offers. We were told we were in back up position with our offer...so we kept looking.
The real estate agent we were using was a friend of a friend who family insisted we try out. The agent was decent, and helped us out a great deal in the beginning, and of course helped us find the home... but during the whole 6 months, seemed somewhat absent from the situation. Weeks and weeks went by, and we couldn't get a returned phone call or email response... and we did not know what to do.
Then we came across David. He took the time to listen to what had happened with our situation, and really listened to what we wanted and needed in our new home. As we are expecting our 4th child in the next couple months, we really needed to get out of our 2 bedroom home as soon as possible. He felt that we wouldn't have a problem finding a home to suit our needs. He called later in the day to let us know that he had located 6 homes that we might be interested in. We looked at the information that he sent us and decided that we wanted to look at 4 of them.
David made arrangements for us to view the homes within the next couple days, and was very patient with us, expecially dealing with our children. We fell in love with the first house, which was very similar to the one we had previously made the offer on. But we continued to look at the others. With much thought, we wanted to write an offer on the first home.
David was very thorough in getting our information, and communicating with our loan officer to get everything needed to prepare our offer. He prepared everything and came to our house to go over all the details and paperwork. We felt good about our decision, and happy to get the ball rolling again. Finally there was light at the end of the tunnel! Now, just waiting on the sellers response... we couldn't wait to hear!
Then, to our surprise- the very next day- the agent that we thought we would never hear from again, called to let us know some good news.
Good news?!?! What could that be after all this time?
Our back up offer that we had on the short sale home, had been reviewed and accepted! The other buyers could not continue with the purchase for some reason.
We did not have a lot of time to decide what to do- but we decided to sleep on it for one night. With a lot of discussion, and really not much sleep... we had to make a decision.
We decided to back out of the offer we just made on the second home, and stick with our first choice.
We really loved working with David, and felt horrible about telling him our dilemma.
However, he was completely understanding and said although he wished he could hand us the keys to our new home- he was glad we would be getting our dream home.
We were able to move last week, and we are happy beyond belief!! Our new baby is going to arrive any day now, and we just cant wait to bring him/her HOME.
This summer when we do have our housewarming barbeque, David is one of the first people we are going to invite!
If we could do it all over again, we would have started with him from the beginning. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great experience in the home buying process! (less)

David is a wonderful agent. Throughout the 2 months that my condo was on the market, we also developed a friendship. Interacting with him about the contracts never felt like a chore, it became a friendly meeting. I never felt rushed into selling my condo. He was adamant that I was happy with my sale price. He regularly checked the comps to ensure that my list price was appropriate. He negotiated terms for me that I was surprised to receive from the buyer. I was able to sell my condo for the price that I wanted. He has many years of experience in the real estate industry and was very knowledgable about the real estate market. He was truly interested in making sure that this process wasn't a stressful one, but a happy one. David even helped me deal with an unruly tenant that made me crazy at times. He really went above and beyond his job duties to ensure that I was happy. I really can't imagine a better person for the job. I have had several other agents in the past and David was one in a million. When I'm ready to buy or sell again, David will be my agent. (less)

I lived in San Francisco and before in La Jolla. After 3 long years of looking in East Bay San Francisco to buy a house (after the crash), I had finally settled for Danville/San Ramon area because of excellent schools and the closest look it had to Southern California compared to Lafayette and Alamo which also have good schools. I got introduced to David on July 13, 2013 through a mutual friend. I have no appreciation for old houses which were plenty around in EB. I explained to David what I am looking for in 15 minutes. Within 2-3 Email exchanges during the week (sending me just a few property listings/pictures to grade), he provided me with 4-5 candidate listings for the coming Saturday. The first property was exactly my taste, the second (which I had picked myself) was a NO NO, and the third was OK. On the way back the same day, he showed me a couple more properties with one which I completely fell in love with after seeing it with patience. After a few questions to him on the same day who he right away got answers for me, on the next day I knew that this is the dream house for me. Within the next 36 days (we closed on 8/26), he really worked to get continuously to get the property for me as if he was getting it for himself. Whether it was a question I had late at night, early in the morning, or else, he was quick hard to get answers from the other agent, the city, the inspector, etc. We probably communicated through 200+ Email, phone, and text exchanges for anything from sprinkler system, internet wiring, roof condition, loan, appraisal, insurance, and so on and more importantly managing other people involved in the process for this purchase. After all ups and downs (it is never smooth), within 36 days, I had finally got the house I picked on the first day. Given the last 3 years of disappointing experience with different agents or search on my own, I had planned at least 4-6 months of search with him and countless Saturdays on house hunting. But all happened in one Saturday. Even after the purchase, he has been in touch with me to see how everything is going on and helping me with some after purchase issues.
In a nutshell, David reminded me of what one used to expect from a true real estate agent before them becoming just searchers on MLS and public sites and just sending Emails to you to go to see the properties. During the process, I found out that every penny is worth as commission if you have a true agent. David certainly deserved all of it. I highly recommend David since it would be like a close friend or family for you during the whole process. (less)
